Brooklyn Botanic Garden
Adopts Vertical Garden Installation for Permanent Home in the New Visitor Center
After a successful year-long exhibit, the Brooklyn Botanic Garden welcomes Danielle Trofe’s custom Vertical Garden Installation into the fold, to stand tall and proud in the new LEED certified visitor center as a permanent fixture. Visitors can gaze up at this fourteen foot tall vertical garden that spirals up to the ceiling with organic-shaped, alien-like planter pods that will house various indoor plants on a rotating basis. The installation promotes the incorporation of living plants into interior spaces to create healthier and happier urban environments. Vertical gardens maximize vertical space to allow for the greatest possible number of plants in space-constrained interiors. Plan your visit to BBG today!
